Orthodontic treatment is available to patients of all ages. In accordance with the American Association of Orthodontists, we recommend that children have their first orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7. With early evaluation and diagnosis, children can achieve optimal orthodontic results. Early treatment provides a range of benefits and often means that a patient can avoid surgery or other serious complications. There is, of course, no age limit for orthodontic treatment as both children and adults benefit from orthodontics. As such, our office accommodates patients of all ages.
Welcome to Our Office!
We are always excited about meeting new patients during their complimentary visit to our office. We understand that everyone's needs and expectations about orthodontics are different. We set aside this special time at your first visit to discuss questions regarding your orthodontic care.
Your first visit with us will be both fun and informative. Please allow approximately one hour for your first visit to our office. Upon arriving, we will lead you to our X-ray area and take some preliminary X-rays and photos. These initial diagnostic tools will aid Dr. Herrmann in determining your treatment plan.
During our initial appointment, Dr. Herrmann and his new patient coordinator will be discussing with you the conditions that exist, the necessary corrective treatment options and the correct time to begin treatment. The anticipated length of treatment, fee and payment preferences will also be discussed. We will answer any questions you may have, and if treatment is indicated, proceed with the next step towards achieving your new smile!
Younger patients who may require some additional growth, tooth eruption or other factors will be recalled periodically to determine the optimum time to start treatment. Sometimes early treatment is necessary to eliminate earlier conditions that exist and facilitate a healthier situation in which the permanent teeth will erupt.
We can't wait to meet with you! We are certain that you will find that our office meets all your expectations - and even more! We look forward to you becoming part of our family.
The benefits of having a beautiful, confident smile that can last a lifetime are truly priceless. Orthodontic treatment is an excellent investment in your overall dental, physical and emotional health. Because each person's treatment is unique, each patient's fee is determined on an individual basis with difficulty and length of treatment taken into consideration.

If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is separate from regular dental insurance. Remember that insurance policies differ, and we will review your insurance to determine the appropriate course of action. Once treatment has started, we will file your claims.
To help us with your insurance filing, please complete the insurance questions on our questionnaire.
Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If during the course of treatment, your benefits change or are not received in a timely manner, the financially responsible party is responsible for any unpaid balance.
